Pigeon Point Light

What a wonderland this place is.

At left is the Pigeon Point Light south of San Francisco and north of Santa Cruz. It was named for the wreck of the steamship Pigeon which foundered on the rocks at this location. It was recently deeded over to the state of California and will be undergoing major restoration.

It is but one of literally thousands of fascinating places to visit and photgraph in the wonderous state.
