Spring Marches On

The almond blossoms have matured and the delicious nuts lie within their velvety husks. Soon we will be competing with the birds for our share of the harvest.

I like the comparison shots.

I drove by the dogwoods yesterday to see if I could find any sign of blossoms...nope. We have a saying up here: "Winter isn't over until it snows on the dogwood blooms."

Sigh.
