Julia Pfeiffer State Park - Big Sur

This is probably one of the most scenic places along the Central Coast. This was all part of the Pfeiffer home once upon a time. The ruins of the house sit high up on the cliff. It is amazing that whenever I have been there, there are few people. I guess for some reason folks don't know it is there. It also is pretty remote.

The color of the water is gorgeous! And what is the story behind the ruins? I am curious.

Yes, that is an absolutely beautiful place. We visited there this past April and it was wonderful. I got to see the waterfall, but no fog.

I don't know why I haven't posted any of the pictures yet ... hmm, go figure.

Gosh John. IMO, You live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Do you ever head up coast to the redwoods in Big Basin?
