Winter Surprise over Salinas

With winter comes the wet season on the Central Coast. While driving up Route 68 from Monterey to Salinas I came across this scene as I was coming out of the hills. Sometimes the beauty is almost too much. Then again I can become jaded unless I take the time to appreciate the wonder of it all.
