Eeeeeeeeeeeeek!
I walked out the door this morning and looked across the valley at Fremont Peak. The mountain is named for that idiot from St Louis, the "famous" Pathfinder who nearly singlehandedly made sure California stayed part of Mexico, similarly almost handed Missouri into the Confederacy and repeatedly got his a$$ kicked in the Shenandoah Valley by Stonewall Jackson.
But I digress.
When I looked out the door and across the valley I saw SNOW on top of said mountain. SNOW! We don't do snow here, it's hard on the magnolias and suntans.
A sign of the Apocolypse?
Could be.

Are you serious?? Wow, that is something. Nice one.
Tena koe ehoa
In Aotearoa we have experienced several very out-of-season and out of the ordinary natural phenomenons over the last several years as well! Gigantic hail stones, Unduely high rainfalls at the wrong seasonal time. etc. I guess it's all relative to the crap we unconsciously and consciously release into the atmosphere, water ways, land masses and drains.
Send in the Waaa-mbulance.
Heh! Nice picture, though.
Our snow is finally melting. It's a warm day today...probably in the 50s.
By the way...I thought we only lost our power because we lived so far out in the country that no one really cared about if we had power or not and you tell me that you guys lose it during storms, too? Go figure.
