A Lonely Thunderhead above the Yosemite Valley

This road, on the approach from San Francisco and Stockton, provides some of the best views of the valley. The other approach to Yosemite follows the Merced River. We entered the park by the former and left by the latter. Both are worth the trip. Incredibly beautiful scenery.
