Big Sur - A Little Something Different - Nepenthe
Nepenthe is a well known restaurant just south of Big Sur. It is perched on the cliffs above the ocean and has some spectacular views. It has a rather eclectic (well, not for Big Sur) gift shop on the lower level.

Wowsers! I think I'll have to put that place on my loooooong list of places to visit.
Oh yeah, love their sandwishes and salads. And the Pacific ocean view goes all the way to Hawaii!
And don't forget to stop by Ventana's.
What a pleasant view to eat by!!
